Thanks for posting the article Stephanus! They should have put a few "Muscle Cars" in there, seeing they put in the disclaimers about driving fast and improper seat-belt usage. Boy, Rutherford sure looked the part for a Publishing Tycoon didn't he!?..LOL Funny thing too, they didn't put in any scriptures and make reference to enjoying these cars now, because it's back to the horse and buggy in the "new system".

Spanner...That's exactly the way Tink and I handle our JW sib's. We are freindly, kind, and keep any conversation on a nuetral subject. Hopefully they can see that were not doomed sorry soles, who tear their clothes, and weep in the streets...LOL If they see how happy we are to be free from the control of the WTS, this may lead them to think about their own happiness.

did you find that you tended to find yourself alone, without many people to talk to, or were you generally able to chit-chat with the "friends" at the hall?
I got along well with mostly everyone at the KH up north. When I moved to Tn. I was the new single brother and got alot of interest. When Tink and I got married we did not get friendly responses. I was supposed to marry another pioneer and Tink was supposed to wait a minimum of one year after her divorce to start dating..Crock of S..t. We were given the cold shoulder alot.
As an observation, I noticed alot of people being ignored, some for the same reason Tink and I were ignored, and some for various other reasons, like single sisters with kids, not-so-regular attenders, shy ones..etc.

hey hows everyone doing... i am a resident of edmonton in canada, and i am only 16 years old, i just left the jw religion.
i just knew it wasnt in my heart, my parents dont care but i told them that i dont want to go to any meeting or talk to any of our old friends.. they still dont know why..but i fell like it was to much of a currupted situation..i felt like i was taking orders from man, not from god.
i was not baptized yet, but i was going strong in the ministry as a unbaptized publisher.
